As a Club, Logan Diggers is committed to offering further education to its employees.   Currently the Club has a number of employees completing Traineeships through Ignite Education. 

 From the outset, Jane and her team have been professional in all undertakings and the feedback that I have received from our employees has all been positive.  Ignite Education is very flexible to our Clubs rostering needs as our work environment changes from week to week with functions and events taking place .  One of the main reasons I chose Ignite Education over other Training organisations was the fact that our staff are in a learning environment with other employees  from other venues or school students.   This provides our staff with different ideas and life experiences which is invaluable when learning new skills.

 I continue to liaise with Ignite Education on offering our employees and others in the Industry a number of different courses and I would recommend that as a business you consider having a look at what this company has to offer.

White Echo is a social media consultancy and management company and we have the pleasure of working with Ignite Education across all of their social media platforms. We have been working with Ignite for the past few months, managing their online presence and building their profiles on Facebook and Twitter. It has been wonderful for us to work with an educational facility and learn the ins and outs of their business. Working in social media is a journey, one full of learning and this has proved a wonderful skill in communicating the messages for Ignite into the social media world. The staff at Ignite are fantastic - their passion and enthusisam for the courses they deliver and in particular the students is evident in everything they do. We have really enjoyed working with Ignite Education and we look forward to continuing our strong relationship with them in the future.

We currently have four students undertaking their Cert III Hospitality, and I believe they are doing well.  The team from Ignite have been fabulous!  Jane came to the school to do a presentation to our Year 11’s, in regards to which traineeships were on offer.  Sami has visited on numerous occasions to get feedback from the students in regards to which areas they interested in, make sure they have a clear understanding of what a Traineeship is, and also conduct interviews.

The continual communication, whether it be email or phone, has kept the school up-to-date with the progress of our current Trainees and/or the latest Traineeship vacancies.

Glady M -  July 2011

Recently at Ignite a group of students completed their Certificate II in Hospitality, they were trained in bar, gaming and barista.  Glady was an inspiration to Ignite Education. After rehabilitating from an accident and could no longer work in her chosen field, she decided to try something completely different and challenge herself.  Glady says “I did the best thing for myself, picking up the phone and booking my enrolment for the course with Ignite, they made me feel welcomed right from the beginning.”
